I've accumulated quite a few empties over the last few weeks, because they were all sort of half full. I usually can't wait to try new products, so end up opening new stuff without finishing what I already have. Terrible, I know.
The empties:
The Body Shop Bath & Shower Gel
Now there's not much you can say about a shower gel I suppose. I picked it up at the sale for £2, it did the job! I'm not a fan of the fragrance, it has a fruity smell, but not a pleasant one (in my opinion). It didn't leave the skin dry. Does what it says on the tin (or bottle)!

Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions - Clarifying Lotion
This is essentially a toner, although the sales assistant did refer to it as an exfoliating lotion. It's part of the anti-blemish range, to be used between the foaming cleanser and the moisturising lotion. It has exfoliating little particles in the solution, so you have to shake before you apply with cotton wool. General feeling, has a strong astringent-y smell, and I don't think it helped hugely with the blemishes. I know some people rave about the range but personal experience, I didn't see a lot of change in my blemishes.
Repurchase? Probably not.

Vaseline Body Lotion in Aloe Fresh
I'm not a fan of aloe vera, so didn't love the fragrance. It has a light texture, so doesn't leave the skin greasy. Sinks into the skin pretty quick, leaving the skin soft to touch. Overall, it's a good body lotion.

Nivea Soft Tube
This is one of my all time favourites. The fragrance is the signature Nivea scent, which always reminds me of my childhood as my mum always used this. The texture is very velvety soft and hydrates my skin well. I usually use this as a hand cream, but as it says on the bottle, you can use it on your face, hands an body. I always stock up when they are on special for £1.

Origins Never A Dull Moment Skin-brightening Face Cleanser with Fruit Extracts
With the promise to 'eat-away' dead cells on your skin, I feel this product really delivers. It has a gel consistency and a subtle fruity fragrance. It lathers up well on the skin and leaves it feeling soft and clean. It does not dry the skin and lasts a while so I don't mind the price tag. It's a good cleanser if you don't have blemish free skin.

Origins Checks And Balances Frothy Face Wash
This was a special edition version (same thing in a different packaging). This frothy face wash is frothy alright! It has a mousse-like consistency and really froths up when massaging onto skin. However this is not a favourite in my book, as it left my skin extremely dry and tight! Plus it doesn't remove makeup very well.

Clinique Exfoliation Scrub
This is staple item in my skincare. Firstly, I'm not a scrub lover but this converted me! It has a minty, fresh scent and leaves skin slightly tingly afterwards. It has fine particles for exfoliation purposes. To put it simply, I love it! It's quite a big tube so lasts for a very long time.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion
This is another favourite of mine. It's not greasy on my combination skin. However, if you have oily skin, you should opt for the gel version. It's a lovely moisturiser, sinks in well and doesn't get greasy under makeup. My only qualm with it is it has no SPF. So I mostly use it when I know I won't be going out of the house.
