The Empties # 2

It has been forever since my last empties post.  I do save my empty product packaging but forget to take pictures and then they end up in recycling... I've been good and saved them this time *pats self on the back*

Firstly, Jason Biotin Restorative Conditioner,  I had the shampoo too but it ended up in the recycling bin before I could take a photo.  I wanted to try out sulphate free shampoo and conditioner to see if it made any difference to my hair.
I have to say I didn't like the shampoo at all.  The fragrance was almost like talcum powder and it left my hair really dry.  It lathered up fine, but left my hair really straggly.  However the condition was much nicer.  It's quite thick and felt like an intensive moisturiser.  For the price though, could get better conditioners from Boots if you're not too bothered about sulphate/parabens.

Repurchase?  Maybe not.

Available here for £6.29.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter is an absolute favourite of mine.  I'm hooked on this stuff.  Really thick, and buttery texture and leaves my skin feeling 100% moisturised.  My skin has been thanking me for this as the colder weather is setting in.

Repurchase?  Yes.

Available here for £10.50.

No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser is my daily cleanser now, since I used up this smaller version I got in a gift set.  It has nice creamy texture, not too thick and dissolves all my makeup effortlessly.  It comes with a 'muslin cloth' but I use face towels (flannels) from Primark.

Repurchase?  Yes

Available here for £9.95 (full size).

Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thrist-Quenching Serum is a beautiful serum.  It has quite a watery texture, but hydrates my skin like nobody's business!  I was blown away by this serum and husband sneakily used up a fair bit too!  It has a subtle lovely fragrance, and I absoutely love, love this serum.

Repurchase? Yes.

Available here for £26.10.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel is a good moisturiser.  I've spoken about it in my previous empties post.  It doesn't have any SPF, good for oily skin as this is the gel version.  It's a decent moisturiser, but I'm not going to repurchase because I want to try out different moisturisers.

Repurchase? Yes, but not right now.

Available here for £17.

No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Night Cream is quite a thick night cream.  I didn't really like it as it didn't sink in at all.  It was quite greasy and just sat on top of my skin.  Also, it didn't deliver on any of the claims made.  It had quite a strong scent too which I was not a fan of.

Repurchase? No.

Available here for £24.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream.  This is a good eye cream especially for use at night (as it says on the tin!).  It has a gel texture and sinks in nicely.  It's not too thick, not too light.  Really hydrated the area around my eye area.  However it is quite pricey, so I won't be rushing out to repurchase.

Repurchase? Yes.

Available here for £38.

No7 Beautiful Skin Dry Skin Rescue hand cream is a really nice hand cream.  It deeply moisturised my dry skin.  It's not too thick and sinks in quite quickly, but does it's job really well.  I really enjoyed using it, but the tube didn't seem to have very much product in it at all!  It seemed to finish quite quickly.

Repurchase? Maybe.

Available here for £12.

L'Occitane En Provence Shea Butter Hand Cream is my absolute favourite hand cream of all times. It is thick and moisturising and restores my dry hands overnight.  My only issue with this is the packaging, I dislike the metal packaging and it is a nightmare to get product out towards the end.  Nevertheless, I love this too much to give it up!

Repurchase? Yes.

Available here for £19.

The two Origins products are travel minis.  Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser with White Tea is a nice face wash but it doesn't remove makeup very well.  So might be a good cleanser for washing your face in the morning.  It smells beautiful and leaves skin feeling soft and not at all tight.  I probably won't repurchase as I don't really use foaming face washes currently.

Repurchase? Not right now.

Available here for £19.

Origins Modern Friction Scrub is one of my favourite scrubs.  Although I've stopped using traditional, manual scrubs.  There is something different about this.  I'll do a full review of it soon.  It leaves my skin so so soft to touch, it's amazing.  BUT never ever take it anywhere near your eyes, it stings like hell!  Other than that, it's a gem of an exfoliator.

Repurchase? Yes.

Available here for £33.

That is one looong post, I will try and do shorter bursts next time.  Hope you've enjoyed my thoughts on the above.
