Evening Skincare Routine

I posted my morning skincare routine earlier this week.  It was a simple four-product job, mostly to save time.  It's a whole new story in the evening though.  It includes removing everything on my skin and layering again.

I remove my eye makeup with good old Bioderma Sensibio Crealine H2O Micellar Solution £9.99 (250 ml).  This really soaks off most of my eye makeup, and then I use the No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser £9.99 (200ml) on my dry skin and really massage it in.  This breaks down the makeup on my skin and easily wipes off with a hot, wet flannel.  I use Primark ones.  I did a comparison of this with the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser here.

Next in line is Pixi Glow Tonic £16, couple of  pumps on a cotton pad swiped all over my face (avoiding the eye area).  This step really helps to remove any dry, flaky skin that has been softened by the hot flannel.  This is a favourite of mine, read the full review here.

Now to layer on the moisture.  Firstly Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel £14 (15ml) (not pictured) to hydrate the area around my eyes.  I tap the eye cream with my ring finger until it's fully absorbed.  Then a dollop of Hydraluron £24.99 (30 ml) as  serum for my skin, this feels quite wet - almost water like and needs a bit of working to absorb.  I wait a minute after this to ensure it's fully absorbed.

Next step, moisturiser.  I've been trying the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]* £10.33 (40 ml) and liking it!  My skin has been behaving and generally no breakouts.  This is slightly thicker in texture than the Effaclar Duo and I feel that adds more moisture.  Duo [+] leaves my skin supple yet matte.

Finally, can't forget about the lips!  Can you guess what I'm going to mention? Yep, my favourite  Nuxe Rêve de Miel® Lip Balm.  I won't bore you with my love for this, you can read a full review here.

Hope you've enjoyed my evening skincare routine.  If you'd like to read about my morning skincare, you can do here.  Have you tried any of the products mentioned?
