Weleda Skin Food Review

Weleda Skin Food Review - Beauty by Eff

Weleda Skin Food (link) £8.50 has been on many magazines and websites and praised as a miracle worker by celebs.  Naturally I was curious especially because it's such an affordable product.

Weleda Skin Food is marketed as an intense moisturiser for dry and rough skin.  It is supposed to be a problem-fixer for elbows, feet etc.  It has a really, really thick texture.  It leaves my skin feeling a little greasy and takes while to sink in.  The fragrance is quite herbal and earthy.  It takes little getting used to.  If you like Caudalie's Beauty Elixir, you'll like this.

I use this mostly on my hands, elbow and feet.  It has really helped with my feet, but not so much with my elbow and hands.  It could be that my hands weren't quite as dry as my feet, so taking longer to notice anything?  I don't know, but I will persevere.

The ingredients (link) look really good, from a quick glance, I can't see anything horrendous!  A lot of natural oils and extracts in there to nourish the skin.

This is not something I'd use regularly, but more an intense approach to any problematic skin especially during winter.
