I'm a big fan of Rimmel eye products.  I've previously raved about Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Pencil and Glam'Eyes Liquid Eye Liner.  Naturally when I saw the release of Rimmel ScandalEyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner, £5.29, I knew I had to try it.

Unfortunately I was rather disappointed with the product.  It was difficult to use and the pigmentation was very poor.  As you can see from the swatch, it's not what you'd want for a black winged liner.  There's just hardly any colour payoff!

I found the applicator 'nib' to be quite hard and it dragged my skin.  It was quite a rough feeling - my lash line did not appreciate it!  When you use it, it also feels quite dry, unless you store it upside down, even then it doesn't have a lot of product on the tip.  The packaging is okay and that's pretty much it really!  This would have been a much better product, if the nib/tip was softer, the color was a lot more intense and there was actually liner liquid being dispensed from the nib/tip!!

Overall for the price, I was really quite disappointed with the product.  Compared to Rimmel's other eye products, this is a complete let down!  Safe to say, I won't be repurchasing this!  I will be going back to my trusty Rimmel GlamEyes liquid liner for a feline flick/winged liner!

Have you tried Rimmel's ScandalEyes Thick and Thin Eyeliner?  What's your favourite 'pen style' eye liner?
