Favourites time again! This month has flown faster than the five before it. Let’s get cracking!
I’ve
reviewed this beautiful blusher in full here.
In short, I really love it. I
used to steer clear of cream blusher due to my oily/combination skin. However
since I started using this cream to powder formula blusher, it’s been a love
affair to write about. It blends well
due to the cream formula yet doesn’t leave a horrible oily glow on my oily
complexion around lunch time as the finish is that of a powder blusher. Perfect summer cheek companion!
The ends of
my hair has been insanely recently. Then
I remembered Estee from Essiebutton mentioning this leave-in detangling spray –
had to go get it. Firstly, it smells
amazing! So nice and fruity! Can’t even describe how much I enjoy the
fragrance of this in my hair. After
using this, my hair has been so much more manageable. I haven’t got that annoying clump of tangled
hair at the nape of my neck! The ends of
my hair have been really soft to touch and smooth. If you have same hair issues, definitely give
this a go.
I wasn’t too
drawn to this brow mascara when it was first released. I didn’t buy into the hype that a brow mascara
could make much of a difference, especially to sparse brows like mine. After my By
Terry Experience, I needed to try a brow mascara (with a cheaper price tag
of course!). This has made a visible
difference to my sparse, unruly brows. My
brows stayed in place and the colour was opaque enough that I can get away with
not using another brow product.
By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi-Serum in Sunny Flash
My By Terry Experience left me wanting everything by the brand, but I reigned
myself in and picked the one thing that impressed me the most. The CC-serum has skincare benefits of a serum
and colour corrects your complexion, giving you the light base that you need
for the hot summer months. I’ve been
wearing this every single day this month, and will do for the rest of the
summer! It’s rose fragranced as are most
By Terry products and has beautiful texture that just glides on your skin.
Another
Estee enabled purchase, that girl’s gonna get me bankrupt one day! She was right though, this stuff smells
incredible! It’s just so sweet and feels so nourishing! If you love body butters, you need to get
your hands on this. Beautiful is an
understatement.
Best.Concealer.Ever. Wow! I
got matched at a Nars counter years ago and hated how it looked on me so wrote
it off. Recently I got colour matched at
Space NK and it was two shades lighter! It is a perfect shade for my under eyes
and blemishes – which is rare. It is so
light but gives really good coverage. I’m
just in awe. This paired with the By
Terry CC Lumi-Serum has been my base everyday of June. You want the perfect concealer? Go get this, now.
I’ve been
using Clinique products since I was a teenager.
I always have a number of Clinique products in my stash, especially when
they have their bonus times. I mean, I’ve
had a text alert for years for when the bonus time offers hits the stores. Yes,
I am that bad! Anyway, I received this
particular chubby stick with a bonus time gift.
I wasn’t about the shade initially as it’s a sheer peach with shimmer
running through it. It’s actually been
perfect as a day time balm/lip colour to wear.
It’s moisturising and adds just a little colour and shimmer to your
lips. I love these chubby sticks!
One the
hottest trend this summer has been coloured eye liner. Practically, you couldn’t rock up to work
wearing turquoise eye liner! So when I
heard this was free with Glamour magazine, I picked it up straightaway. It’s really easy use as it’s a felt pen and
the navy is dark enough for you to get away with coloured liner every day. This has made me want to try other coloured
liquid liners.
This has
been a long favourites post, but I just had too many to choose from!
