Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm | Review

Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm - Aspiring Londoner

I’m very loyal to my Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm (review here) and there haven’t been many that have lived up to the magic pot.  However I’m always keen to try new balms and see if it does.

New Release | Ted Baker Mia Purse Spray Fragrance

Ted Baker Mia Purse Spray Fragrance - Aspiring Londoner

Who struggles with carrying clunky perfume bottles in their handbag? Anyone? Surely it's not just me!  I hate that in the UK we can't get hold of rollerball perfumes readily - 30ml is the smallest sized perfume most shops carry.  Who wants to lug around a 30ml chunky glass bottle in their handbag?!

Beauty Shopping on a Budget

Blogging is the possibly the biggest enabling factor in my life.  All my purchasing decisions seem to stem from either seeing images on instagram/twitter or reading other blogs.  I always excuse unnecessary purchases on ‘review purposes for the blog’.  Recently, I have been having storage issues and came to the realisation that I own far too much makeup/skincare than I could possibly need.  So have imposed a restriction of not purchasing anything unless I desperately need to replace something rule.  This then prompted me to share with you guys how you can blog on a budget or generally satisfy the inner beauty fiend without going bankrupt.

Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette FLAWLESS - Aspiring Londoner

Makeup Revolution has taken the blogging world by storm recently.  Word has it their products are of amazing quality despite the incredibly affordable price point.  Naturally I was keen to get a piece of the action.

New Release | Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick

Welcome the newest matte lipstick on the block from Clinique.  Let's be honest, there are a hell of a lot of matte lipsticks out there.  However most of them seem to have the same recurring issue - the formula.  MAC's Ruby Woo is one of my favourite reds yet the formula is so dry, it completely dries my lips out.  As a result, it doesn't get a lot of use.

Budget Buy | Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve been using hot cloth cleansers for over a year now.  It has made the world of difference to my oily/combination/blemish-prone skin!  I rarely get spots now and my skin is always smooth.  Dry patches don’t make a frequent appearance either!  I don’t think I’ll ever go back to using just a face wash – I just couldn’t.  My first hot cloth cleanser was the cult Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, which I loved.  Then purely due to value for money, I moved on to the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser.  I’ve done a comparison review of both here.
