New Release | Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick

Welcome the newest matte lipstick on the block from Clinique.  Let's be honest, there are a hell of a lot of matte lipsticks out there.  However most of them seem to have the same recurring issue - the formula.  MAC's Ruby Woo is one of my favourite reds yet the formula is so dry, it completely dries my lips out.  As a result, it doesn't get a lot of use.

Clinique's response to this problem is this new release.  It claims to be matte yet moist and non-drying, ending all your woes!  The focal point of this lipstick is the formula.  The pigments are ground in Cetyl Octanoate, an ingredient that develops colour to its true intensity.  Porous Silica beads and Porous Silica are combined into the formula to set colour.  There is also beeswax in the ingredients which provides the long-lasting moisture to your lips.  There is another special ingredient, as special polymer which ensures lips are protected and moisture is lost.  Clinique seems to have gone all out to ensure the formula is perfect and the lipstick lives up to its claims!

The lipstick is available in 8 rich, bold and bright shades -   Matte Magenta, Matte Crimson, Matte Peony, Matte Mandarin, Matte Suede, Matte Petal, Matte Beauty and Matte Plum.

Really Ree has all the swatches of the shades here.

As per usual, all products are allergy tested and 100% fragrance free! Available here for £18.

Have you tried the new Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipsticks?  Which is your favourite shade?
