The Empties #3

Empties - No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser, Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment, No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover, Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip balm, Dior Ja'adore Perfume, Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief - Aspiring Londoner

A long overdue empties post is here.  I had a *lot* of empties but a lot of it ended up in recycling as per.  There are a few of my all time favourites in this post, so grab yourself a cup of tea - I might go on for a while!

I’ve mentioned this before on AL.  I love this cleanser, does what it says on the tin, really good value for money when you get it with the Boots No7 vouchers.  Lovely consistency, there is a slight fragrance which I’m not a fan off but it’s not strong enough to offend your senses and it lasts ages!  I’ve compared this to the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish here.  Love the packaging as it comes in a pump bottle and the bottom pushes up as you use the product, so you can easily tell when you need to repurchase.  I wish more products came in this kind of packaging.  Yes, I’ve already repurchased.

This has been in my stash for a while.  I got this as part of a Christmas set and must admit, wasn’t a fan.  It’s a bi-phase eye makeup remover.  It does remove eye makeup, but you have to put a fair bit of effort to make sure it does.  Even then some mascara might be left over.  The biggest issue I have with this is that it leaves a greasy, oily residue/film on your skin.  I know some may like this as it’ll be moisturising the eye area, but I’m gonna cleanse my face anyway so the unnecessary greasiness is just that, unnecessary.  In two words, not impressed and won’t be repurchasing.

If you’ve been reading AL for a while, you know this is a THE king of all lip balms.  If you wanna read about how much I love this pot of goodness, read my full review here.  In short, I love this lip balm more than any lip balm, ever.  It has a matte finish, moisturises my lips when it’s at its driest, good enough to use all year round, every day, forever!  Repurchased?  Well of course!  I have a good backup stash of this.

I received this pot as part of Clinique’s bonus time offer.  It’s such a lovely moisturiser!  I love the gel like texture and how easily it hydrates your skin without leaving it feeling greasy.  I absolutely loved this.  If you have oily akin, and are looking for a light, hydrating moisturiser – this is for you.  The price may seem a little steep, but a little goes a long way!  It reminds me a little of the hydraluron serum, but more moisturising!  Perfect summer moisturiser, I will repurchase in the future (after I finish the many more awaiting on my shelves!)

Dior J’adore is one of my all-time favourites.  Not only because of the beautiful fragrance but I have a lot of sentiments attached to this fragrance.  It’s quite a floral scent, so if you’re not a fan of floral scent this might not be your cup of tea.  However I’d still urge you to give this a try.  I’ve not met anyone that doesn’t love this.  The packaging is beautiful, it looks beautiful and the fragrance lingers and gets better with time.  Three words to describe this, beautiful, feminine and romantic!  I have already repurchased this!

Ojon is a favourite brand of mine for hair treatments.  It has rescued my hair so many times, and I always go back to this when my hair needs some intensive lovin’.  It’s great value for money as lasts forever!  I have a full review here, if you want to know more.  On a side note, the smell is awful, but for what it does for my hair – I’m willing to overlook.  And yes, already repurchased!

That’s it for my empties for now, I’ll *try* to be more regular with them!

Have you tried any of my empties products?  Which would you like to try?  Leave me a comment or tweet me @aspiring_london!
