GOSH Giant Blush A/W 2014

GOSH Giant Blush in Passion & Pink Parfait - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve previously tried GOSH when I was in college, a few years back.  I was pleasantly surprised at how highly pigmented their eye shadows were compared to other similar priced products.  Unfortunately, as I wasn’t a big makeup wearer back then, I didn’t try much more.  Obviously I’ve been missing out!

Their A/W ‘14 offering includes a range of Giant Blush sticks in 02 Shy, 04 Passion* and 06 Pink Parfait*, £6.99.  They are wind up sticks similar to Clinique’s Chubby Cheek Balms (swatches here) but at a fraction of the price.  Although they may look similar, their textures are far different.  The GOSH Giant Blushes have a sheen finish, not in a gross sweaty kinda way but a more healthy glowy way.  Right on trend for A/W!

The cream-to-powder finish blushes are easy to use.  I dab them directly on to my cheeks and blend them out with my fingers.  The pigmentation is perfect and blends without looking streaky.  The blushes last really well throughout the day.  After 4-5 hours it does fade a little, but as it’s so easy to apply – you can just apply on the go!

Even with my oily skin, it didn’t make me look sweaty and maintained
the silky sheen.  If you are keen to get your hands on these stick blushes, I think these are definitely worth your money!  The thought of applying blusher with a brush from a pot seems like a chore now!
