Berry lips are undoubtedly the biggest Autumn/Winter
trend. Ranging from deep matte berry
shades to brighter berry shades. All
brands, be it high-end or high street, have some dedicated berry shades to suit
your needs.
I’ve been a more MAC Rebel kinda girl previously in Autumn/Winter
months, so this year I thought I’d give something else a go. Bourjois
Rouge Edition Lipstick in 18 Violine Strass*, £7.99 is a lovely
deep berry shade with golden shimmers.
The shimmers are really tiny, so doesn’t show on the lip swatch but adds
a golden shine to the lipstick. It has a
super shiny and nourishing formula. The
super creamy formula means your lips are well hydrated. It didn't dry out my lips at all!
I love the glossy finish as it’s a nice change from my
usual matte lipsticks. And I find that
it really stands out so I can go quite minimal with the rest of my look. Due to the creamy formula, the wear time is
quite average, about 3-4 hours. It wears
evenly and doesn’t creep into the creases of your lips making them look awful!
Bourjois is one of my favourite brands from the high
street, and I never tried their lipsticks!
Safe to say, they haven’t disappointed in the slightest. It’s a lovely colour for the season and the
formula is perfect too. I might have to
pick up a few other shades!
