Daniel Sandler Luxury Lipstick in Impulse #LipWeek

Daniel Sandler Luxury Lipstick Impulse - Aspiring Londoner

Daniel Sandler is well known for his watercolour blushes.  I have to say I haven’t tried anything from his makeup range.  With makeup, I always tend to go for brands that are available to swatch in shops.  I’ve always been curious about his range, but it just never happened.

Recently, the Daniel Sandler Luxury Lipstick in Impulse*,£13.25 landed on my laps and I was eager to give it a try.  It’s a luxurious cherry red lipstick.  The pigmentation is high so you can really go for that statement, bold red lip.  This lipstick is formulated with folic acid formula to plump up your lips and hyaluronic acid to moisturise your lips.  It’s supposed to be really long-lasting too.

As you can see in the swatch the colour is really intense and bold.  I don’t know if it did plump up my lips, but because of its super glossiness, my lips did look fuller.  It was moisturising too as the formula was creamy and smooth.  Although it is quite a bold colour, I applied it straight form the bullet and the colour applied really well.  No uneven application whatsoever!

However I didn’t think it was very long lasting and I suspect it’s because of it moisturising formula that it wore off after
a few hours.  It left behind a nice even stain which still looked like good!

I’d conclude that it’s a great lipstick if you’re going for a glamorous look for a party but not something to wear for longevity.  It’s a great lipstick and the packaging is really luxurious and classy, made me feel quite grown up; I’d say it’s very ‘clutch appropriate’!

What do you think of the Daniel Sandler Luxury Lipstick?  Have you tried any other Daniel Sandler makeup? What do you think of the Ace of Diamond Lipstick?  Share in the comments below or tweet me @aspiring_london!
