Hand Care Out & About #Hands&Tips

Hand Care ft Sanctuary Spa Hand Cream, Crabtree & Evelyn Antibacterial Gel, The Body Shop Hand Cleanse Gel - Aspiring Londoner

In our daily lives, most of the times we're out and about. Be it work, shopping or running errands, we spend a lot of time in the external environment where we are exposed to all sorts of bacteria especially when we're touching door handles, shaking hands or surfaces on public transport. We can't stop going out altogether in the fear of this but try to minimise our exposure to harmful substances.

There is one thing that I always, always have in my handbag; that's a hand sanitiser. I don't think I could go out without it.  Sometimes I'd want to eat a crisp or something that requires me to touch the food so I need a hand sanitiser to ensure I'm not putting food in my mouth that has been exposed to anything harmful to me.

One of the most accessible and nice hand sanitisers are by The Body Shop, £2.50.  What I love about these are the dinky, portable bottles and the various fragrances they have them in.  There's a fragrance for everyone.  They are probably the most affordable and lovely smelling hand sanitiser.  I have different fragrances sitting in my car, my desk at work and my various handbags!

Although I do love the TBS sanitisers, you can definitely smell the alcohol content.  Recently I came across the Crabtree & Evelyn hand sanitiser in Citron, Honey and Coriander, £4 fragrance and oh my! It's probably the best smelling hand sanitiser I've ever known!! You can hardly tell it's a hand sanitiser as it smells so good! There no sticky feeling afterwards either and feels really undetectable.  This is £4, slightly more expensive than the TBS but if you have an issue with the strong alcohol smell, this is for you.

Another product I never go out without is a mini hand cream.  When I'm at a meeting away from my office and wash my hands or something, I end up with extremely dry hands. To remedy that I need my hand cream!  Currently I'm using the Sanctuary Spa Hand Cream Travel, £3. It contains Shea Butter and Almond Oil so really soothes and softens my dry as paper hands.  The travel size makes it very easy to carry around and it smells lovely too! The signature Sanctuary Spa fragrance makes me feel like I'm in a relaxing spa instead of a 2 hour long meeting!  I've spoken in length about my other hand creams here, if you'd like to have a read.
