Kiko Milano Ace Of Diamonds Lipstick - 19 Hypnotic Coral #LipWeek

KIKO Make Up Milano Ace of Diamond Lipstick 19 Hypnotic Coral - Aspiring Londoner

Welcome to #LipWeek!  This week I’m going to post various things related to our beautiful lips!  First up is the answer to all the collections hoarders among us.  The beautiful Ace of Diamond Lipstick in 19 Hypnotic Coral*, £7.90 is part of the Daring Game Collection from Kiko Milano Cosmetics.  If you want to see the whole collection, keep an eye out on my blog as they’ll be featured soon!

Now on to the lipstick itself, it has a demi-mat finish (which I assume means semi-matte) and gives a light layer of colour.  It’s supposed to give quite a satin finish and be very long-lasting.

The packaging is extremely beautiful.  I mean the creator of this collection deserves a serious pat on the back, because it’s just the best collection I’ve seen in a long time!  I want it all!  Next, the formula – it does have a semi matte finish and is super creamy!  It’s so smooth and moisturising, I don’t feel the need to apply lip balm underneath.  The creamy texture doesn’t spoil the application either.  It applies really evenly without any streaky patchiness.  The colour looks quite bright in the bullet however once applied it’s not as scary.  It’s a really nice sheer coral shade.  It has better pigmentation than a sheer lipstick but not a neon coral colour by any stretch.  It’s a really nice blend of pink and orange coral which I think will suit all skin tones.  I find corals hard to work with sometimes, so it’s a blessing that this works with olive/yellow skin tone!

I found the lasting power to be much better than other creamy textured lipsticks.  It’s obviously not as long lasting as matte formulas, but lasts a good 6-7 hours on me.  It does fade somewhat throughout the day, but the good thing is, it fades evenly.  So you don’t end up coral coloured dry patches on your lips.  It just turns paler which is fine by me!

I fell in love with the packaging the first time I laid my eyes on this beauty, but after using – I need the whole collection!  If you’re near a Kiko store, I urge you to give them a swatch!  If you don’t fall in love, then I’m afraid we can no longer be friends! ;-)
