Sleek MakeUp Bare Skin Foundation Review & Swatch
I’m a bit of
a foundation snob. I have never really
bought foundation from drugstore/highstreet before (except the L’Oreal TrueMatch, read here). The reason behind it
is that with my yellow toned yet redness issues make it rather difficult to
find a good foundation match.

Budget Buy | Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette
Budget eye shadows are definitely having their moment in the sun currently. There are so many that are great quality and I love that. I’ve never been one to splash on eye shadows unless they really do something unique or special or I just can’t say no to the packaging (I’m looking at you Kiko!). So when I came across this palette, I was rather excited.

Autumn Essentials | Dry Oils
Now that we’re well into autumn, my summer body lotion
just isn’t cutting it anymore. I’ve
switched to something richer. I tend to
moisturise after my shower, but it’s always rather irritates me how long it
takes for body lotions/butters to sink in.
It delays getting dressed and getting into bed all warm and cosy! Enter dry oils!

Kiko Milano Luxurious Collection Limited Edition
If you’ve been reading my blog recently, you must’ve
noticed I’m pretty obsessed with Kiko Milano right now. They have excellent products and their
collections just get better with eac one they release. I honestly didn’t think they could top their
Daring Game Collection, but lo and behold they release the Luxurious
collection. There aren’t enough heart
eye-shaped emoticons in the world to express my absolute awe of these products.
Stila Magnificent Metals Eye Liner Review & Looks
I have a confession to make; I’ve never tried gel eye
liners. Is that bad? I’ve always worked with liquid liners and
they’ve worked so well for me that I never felt the need to try gel
liners. The idea of taking a brush and
sticking in a pot of liner and then applying on my lash line seemed like too
much hard work! However I have always
been intrigued about it.

Seventeen Colour Carnival Nail Polish | Festive Nails
Blue nail
polishes are hard to wear. I find some
blue polishes make my hands look strange and just don’t suit me. As are glitter
polishes, they usually make you look like you’re under the age of 13…having
said that, I love glitter polishes!
So I have a grown up way of wearing glitter and looking sophisticated!

GOSH Cosmetics Velvet Touch Lipsticks Review
Although I started my lipstick journey with MAC, I’ve
since then experimented with a lot of brands.
My experiments lead me to the conclusion, you don’t always get what you
pay for. Drugstore lipsticks are more
and more getting the formula right. Granted
‘high-end’ lipsticks have the packaging ‘ooh’ factor but drugstore brands aren’t
far behind in that either. GOSH have got
it pretty right with their Velvet Touch Lipstick range.

Cambridge | 5 Must Visit Places
A couple of months ago, quite spontaneously we decided to take a road trip down south beginning at Cambridge. I’ve heard so much about the architecture and the charm of Cambridge that it’s always been on my list to visit. We spent two days there and used up every single minute to do something. I’m going to share my top 5 things to do whilst in Cambridge if you’re contemplating a visit.

Colour & Metallic Eyeliners #AW14Trends
Autumn/Winter has taken AL by storm! I’ve fallen for all the makeup trends and
fallen hard. I’ve tried out so many
different products and looks and loved experimenting with colours! One of my favourites has to be the colour eye
liner look. This is one of these things
I’ve wanted to do for the longest time but never quite gathered the courage for
it.

Weleda Oat Replenishing Hair Treatment Review
I have very long, fine hair. In maintaining the
length and ensuring good health of my hair, I end up trying many, many hair masks and
treatments. One such treatment I’m
reviewing today is from Weleda. I’ve
previously tried Weleda’s
Skin Food (review here) which I loved.

Sunday Relaxing Pamper Sessions
Working full-time, managing my home and blogging all can
be quite full on sometimes. If I don’t
strike a good balance of these, the stress of it all can get to me. As a ritual, every Sunday I ensure I set
aside some ‘me’ time. For me, this has
two benefits, 1) it’s a great way to relax and unwind after the week and 2) it
motivates and prepares me for the week starting on Monday! If I didn’t have my Sunday time, I imagine I’d
be a terror/misery guts on Monday morning!

Favourites | September 2014
Another month closer to Christmas! I think I can get away with being excited about Christmas now, without people giving me funny looks! Last month, I've tried out literally tons of makeup. This'll be evident in my upcoming reviews. But I've picked out things that I've religiously used on a daily basis. Let's begin!

No7 Match Made Lipstick Service Review
Many women find it difficult to find the perfect
lipsticks that complement their skin tone and have the correct undertones. Now No7 has the solution to this
problem. They started their foundation
matching service in 2012, and concealer match made service in 2013 and now have
gone one step further to provide ‘No7 Match Made Lipstick Service’! I was very intrigued when I first heard of
this so visited my local Boots store to see what it’s all about.
