Autumn/Winter has taken AL by storm! I’ve fallen for all the makeup trends and
fallen hard. I’ve tried out so many
different products and looks and loved experimenting with colours! One of my favourites has to be the colour eye
liner look. This is one of these things
I’ve wanted to do for the longest time but never quite gathered the courage for
it.
I mentioned in my Boots
#GiveItAGoDaily post here that Sarah Jagger used blue eyeliner on
me and I absolutely loved it! I walked
out into Central London with my blue eyeliner and no-one gave me crazy looks –
it worked! So when I got home, I decided
to give it a go myself and share the look with you guys, it’s so simple, I can’t
believe I haven’t done this before?!
I already had the No7
Stay Precise Liquid Eye Liner in Sky High so I basically recreated the same look.
I lightly powdered my eye lid to have a matte and even canvas. Then I lined my eye using my favourite Rimmel
Glam’Eyes Liquid Eye Liner (review and swatch here). Then I went in with the No7 Liner and created
a parallel line to the black liner. That’s
it! Be warned though, the No7 eye liner does NOT budge, so you will need an oil based makeup remover to remove it.
The second look I created is a metallic liner
look. This is actually easier than the first
one, as it uses eye pencils. I powdered
my eye lid and lined my eyes quite close to the lash line using Topshop
Kohl Eye Pencil in Coal (review and swatch here). Then I used the Rimmel
ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Silver* to draw a parallel line and
done! Another über simple look that’s
incredibly simple yet adds so much to your makeup! This’d be perfect for festive parties.
What do you think of the coloured eyeliner
trend? Would you try the looks I created? Share in the comments below or tweet
