No7 Match Made Lipstick Service Review

No7 Match Made Lipstick Service Review - Aspiring Londoner

Many women find it difficult to find the perfect lipsticks that complement their skin tone and have the correct undertones.  Now No7 has the solution to this problem.  They started their foundation matching service in 2012, and concealer match made service in 2013 and now have gone one step further to provide ‘No7 Match Made Lipstick Service’!  I was very intrigued when I first heard of this so visited my local Boots store to see what it’s all about.

Basically you get your precise skin tone ‘measured’ with No7’s unique device to a range of No7 skin-true shades foundation collection.  The device takes readings from the lower part of your cheeks with internal LED lights and interprets your exact skin tone and hue.  Based on your precise foundation match, there are perfectly matched lipstick shades from a wide range of 43 lipsticks!  The colour ranges cover Corals, Pinks, Plums and Reds – so you have a match for every season and occasion!  It’s such a unique idea and really appeals to me as I have previously bought lipsticks based on swatches on my hand and then realised that they do not suit me.

No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Raspberry Blush*, £9.95
No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Blushing Tulip*, £9.95
No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Soft Ruby*, £9.95
The lipstick shades also come in ‘Stay Perfect’ finish and ‘Moisture Drench’ finish, attending to the needs of matte and satin finish lovers.  For reference, I was matched to ‘Warm Sand’ for my foundation.  You can visit the Boots website here to get your Match Made Lipsticks or visit a Boots store to get matched!
