Skincare On The Go | Liz Earle Essentials Try-Me Kit

Liz Earle Essentials Try-Me Kit Travel Sizes - Aspiring Londoner

I've been away quite a few times in the last couple of weeks.  At times like this, I get lazy with skincare, and my skin punishes me for it!  This time I was taking no chances.  At the moment, god knows in how many years, my skin is finally in a happy place (I have probably jinxed it now!).  I brought out the big guns and took along a favourite skincare range, Liz Earle.

Review | Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cleanser

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser Review - Aspiring Londoner

If you've read my blog long enough, you'll know I have a strong dislike of gel cleansers.  Having oily/combination skin, I was always told to use gel cleansers to get rid of excess oil – which actually does the exact opposite of helping skin like mine.  But that’s another story for another day.  Long story short, gel cleansers and I don’t get on.

Review | Bourjois Instant Dry Nail Drops

Bourjois Instant Dry Nail Drops - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve never tried nail drying products before.  Nowadays I find it increasingly annoying at the length of time it takes for nail polish to dry.  I can’t sit still for very long, so it’s just torture for me!  So, usually I start doing something and end up completely ruining my manicure that I spent ages doing!

Summer is upon us and now’s the time to bring out our tan appropriate makeup.  As you prepare for your holiday, where you’ll no doubt be sunning yourself, you’ll need makeup to go with the tan.  Shimmery bronzer, neon talons and of course, lipstick to match!  I have just the thing - Besame Cosmetics lipstick in Coral*, £22.  I came across this brand from Vintage Brighton managed by the lovely Jo-ann Fortune.

By Terry Experience at Space NK

I very rarely go into Space NK, as I find the temptation of buying to be too much to avoid.  However I do go in, when I can just to see what beautiful products they have in stock.

Four Tools To Perfect Your Base

Tools to perfectly apply your foundation - Aspiring Londoner

The tools you apply your foundation with are just as important as your actual foundation.  As you’ll see you can get a variation of finish and looks you’re after, using different tools.  I realised this when I started using L’Oreal True Match foundation (post here).  The difference was just jaw-dropping!
