14 Favourites Of 2014

2014 Favourites ft Nars, Jo Malone, Bobbi Brown, By Terry - Aspiring Londoner

Narrowing this year’s favourites to mere 14 products was a difficult job.  I have tried and loved so many different products this year, it’s unreal.  I’ve tried to include products from most categories, but as you can tell there are like three base products!

Bee Good Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser has basically become my favourite cleanser.  I love everything about it, the creamy almost balmy texture, how gentle it is on my skin, the scent and the fact that it thoroughly cleanses my skin without stripping it.  Absolute must have!

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream is the eye cream for me.  I use it every night without fail.  It has really helped to keep my eye area well moisturised and hopefully will provide longer term benefits too.  The texture is lovely and creamy and my eyes always look brighter in the morning.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Plus needs no introduction.  If you’ve read my blog long enough, you know how obsessed I am with this!  LRP Effaclar Duo Plus is something that is always in my stash and any chance of blemishes, I slap this all over my face and it does its magic!

2014 Favourites ft Bee Good UK, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Antipodes - Aspiring Londoner

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask has been my favourite mask by far this year.  I’ve used it every week without fail as I find this clarifies and hydrates all in one tube.  A must have for anyone who are blemish prone and want to keep their oily/combination skin in check.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm is just a forever favourite product.  I use this every day of my life and cannot fault it in any way!  Just an excellent product.

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne was my first Jo Malone purchase.  None of the other colognes’ by JM ever made me feel like I ‘had to have it’.  But as soon as I smelt this, it had to be mine!  It’s fresh, subtle and uplifting.  Perfect!

By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi Serum was something I raved and raved about all summer.  It is possibly the priciest thing I’ve bought all year but it was oh so worth it!  This amazing CC serum gives the most amazing glowing skin like base whilst blurring any uneven colouring on your skin.  Just love love love! I will review this in full sometime in the near future (I promise!)

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation is something I mentioned in my favourite, but haven’t had a chance to review in full.  It’s a Godsend for oily/combination skin gals, as it stays put and works miracles in controlling oil.

2014 Favourites ft Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Nars, Seventeen, Maybelline - Aspiring Londoner

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is another one I mentioned in my favourites but haven’t posted about it.  It’s the HG concealer in my stash.  Although I love the Collection one, this is lighter, better matched to my skin and just makes my skin flawless.  Worth every penny.

Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette is undoubtedly my most loved makeup product.  I have used this almost everyday since I got it in August.  You can create pretty much any look with it, it’s around £3 and pigmentation of the eyeshadows is amazing.  You don’t need anything else if you like quite neutral eyes.

Seventeen Make Your Mark Precision Eyeliner Pen is something I haven’t had a chance to post about.  But by far my most favourite eyeliner pen of 2014.  It’s permanently in my handbag for everyday, all the time.  Expect a review soon!

No7 Lash Impact Mascara was introduced to me maybe a month before Christmas, and I’ve worn it non-stop ever since.  It lengthens, adds volume and defines – need I say more?  Excellent mascara!

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella is another lifetime favourite.  I don’t know what I did without this in my life!  I’m not being dramatic, I promise, it just is that amazing of a red lip product!

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara didn’t think much of it when I bought it, but this is something that has become an integral part of my everyday makeup routine.  When I’m strapped for time, I just swipe a couple of coats on this on my brows and instantly my brows look thicker without going through a full brow routine.  Brilliant product!
