From My Stash | Cream Blushers

Cream Blushers ft. Benefit Majorette, No7 Maple Silk, GOSH Shy, Topshop Head Over Heels - Aspiring Londoner

Although we’re mid-winter, I’ve been seeing a lot of Spring inspired makeup on blogs and it made me think about the one thing I change in this transition.  Blush.  I seem to gravitate towards cream blushers during Spring as it makes my makeup look much more fresh.  I’ve rounded four cream blushers from my stash for you.

Topshop Cream Blusher in Head Over Heels is one of my favourites.  I have spoken highly of this in the full review.  The coral colour and the cream to powder finish just fits perfectly in.  The colour is bright enough for Spring and the formula gives that slightly dewy yet non-greasy glow to your cheeks.

GOSH Cream Blush Stick in Shy is perfect if you’re wearing your spring colours on your lips.  It gives your cheeks a nude sheen.  You get glowing cheeks without overdoing the colour.  This doesn’t have a cream to powder finish so provides more dewiness.  Perfect for anyone with drier skin looking for a glow that’ll stay through the day.

No7 Cream Blush in Maple Silk is another nude shade one, a tad more intense.  I like this as it really adds something to the minimal look.  If you’re going for complete neutral, minimalistic, ‘no makeup makeup’ this’ll add warmth to your skin without adding to much colour.  The reddish brown tone really complements warmer skintone.

Benefit Majorette Blush is a cream to powder finish blush.  It doesn’t have a glossy finish nor a powdery one. The colour is absolutely stunning.  You can build up the intensity from a pinch of peach to a more coral peach shade.  I can see this being my Spring blusher shade for this year as it’ll allow me to try bolder eye/lip colours.  It’s undetectable on the skin and as a booster blush, you can use another blush on top to change the colour to something unique.
