Just before Christmas, Kiko released another beautiful collection – Haute Punk. As per, I just loved the look of the whole collection. The collection features makeup and skincare and the packaging is just luxe!
The one product that caught my eye from the collection was Kiko’s Beauty Apotheosis Total Look Palette in 01. The reason being, it’s a full face palette which are a rare breed! It contains six eyeshadows, a bronzer, a blush, a double-ended eyeshadow applicator and a face brush. The palette itself isn’t too chunky despite all that it contains. The mirror inside is a decent size and functional.
The packaging of the palette is plastic but sturdy. The upper compartment includes the six eyeshadows and the bottom compartment includes the blusher and bronzer. The lock works in a way where you can unlock each compartment separately or together, a little yet great feature.
The blusher and bronzer had the similar issue of feeling a little on the powdery side. The pigmentation was great and the powders were really fine. The bronzer would be perfect for leaving a lovely warmth to your complexion as it's not too dark nor grey toned. This palette would be best suited to light to medium skin tones. I'm pretty sure there's another for medium to dark skin tones too on Kiko's website. Overall I think the palette is great, despite the chalky finish it does what it says on the tin. Great shadows that last and a full face palette that saves you lugging around two makeup bags full of neutral eyeshadow ‘options’ (yes, that’ll be me)! I still want to try out Kiko eyeshadows to see if it differs, as I loved Kiko’s eyeshadow crayons (review here).
Kiko is having an amazing sale with 30% off the Haute Punk collection, so make sure you have a gander at the full collection!
