Best of No7 Makeup Review & Swatches - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve used No7 makeup for as long as I can remember.  They’ve grown leaps and bounds and their products easily measure up to a lot of the higher end brands.  I wanted to share some of my favourite bits from their makeup range.

I’ve always raved about how much I love their lip liners.  No7 Stay Precise Lip Liners are my absolute favourite lip liners, and I hardly ever use any other.  They’re retractable, precise and have a wide range of colours.  When Boots give out the No7 vouchers, these come down to under £4 which is a bargain!  I think I have pretty much all the shades in my collection.

No7 Lipsticks come in different formulations, and I love all the different formulas.  I’ve previously posted about their Match Made Service here which is great if you struggle to pick out lipstick colours.  The formulas are not drying, pigmentation is amazing, and the colour range is really good.  You can find something to everyone’s taste.

Another lip product, I’m not obsessed, honestly.  This is a new one I came across the other day in Boots and just fell in love. The No7 Shine & Tints are a gel lip gloss/stain hybrid that doesn’t dry out your lips and wears amazingly through the day to leave a pretty stain behind.  Absolutely love the shades, the colour payoff is incredible, that swatch is one light swipe – beautiful!  My favourite would have to be the shades Ruby, Sultry & Posy.

No7’s Stay Precise Felt Tip Eye Liner is fast climbing up my go to eye liner.  I posted about some felt tip eyeliners from my stash here, and this is an improved version of the Seventeen one.  It’s improved because the pigmentation is more intense and it’s much easier to use.  If you’re in a hurry and need to create a foolproof wing – this is what you need!

This winter my favourite grab-n-go highlighter has been the No7 Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter.  It can be worn subtle or built up (as shown in the swatch).  It is such an easy way to add a healthy glow to any makeup look with one swipe, no tools required.  I think it may be a very good alternative to the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight!

I’ve previously tried No7’s eyeshadow trios but wasn’t a fan.  However the new limited edition No7 Mini Eye Palette totally changed my mind.  The palette has eight shades that can create a wide range of looks, from neutral day to smoky evening looks.  The packaging looks really sleek and has a massive mirror inside.  The shades are really buttery soft and really pigmented, far superior quality than their usual offerings.  If you’re looking to buy a decent eyeshadow palette, this should be a strong contender.

Mascaras from No7 previously disappointed me, so I never bothered with them.  This Christmas, I tried the No7 Midnight Lash Mascara and loved it.  It really lengthens and defines my lashes; you can build up the volume too by adding more coats.  The Lash Impact mascara is another great one too.  The value is amazing.  You can see it in action in this post.

I actually love a lot of products from No7, so it was difficult to narrow down!  Their powder blusher in Coral Flush is one of daily blushers.  No7 is such an underrated brand, but they have some great products with super value for money, especially with the Boots vouchers.
