Heathcote & Ivory is one of my
recent discoveries and I instantly fell in love when I laid my eye upon their
products. My fascination towards vintage
style products are their packaging. The packaging always gets me first and then come the beautiful scent and the textures. You will understand exactly what I mean when you delve into the products I’m about to show you. All the products are paraben and sulphate free.
I’m going to start with my favourite, the Beau Jardin Citrus Grove Body Lotion 250ml, £8. The packaging is very luxurious; I was surprised at such an affordable price tag! The fragrance, oh the fragrance of citrus – this is just me all over! The zesty freshness and the sweetness is everything I love in a body product. It’s fast absorbing and did I mention it smells amazing?!
The Vintage Collection Mimosa & Pomegranate Hand Care Tin
with Hand Cream 50ml & Large Nail File, £8 is a lovely
little gift for people like me. These
will happily reside in my handbag as I regularly break my nails and I have hand
creams everywhere. The floral mimosa and
fruity pomegranate is a really lovely combination in a hand cream.
Another lovely set from the same
fragrance family is the Vintage Collection Mimosa & Pomegranate Bath Time House with
Bath & Shower Gel & Body Cream, £7. This’ll make a lovely gift for somebody who
perhaps travels a lot, or a great way to introduce someone to a new brand.
I think I need to go to some sort of a fragrance rehab...I’m obsessed with good smelling products! This comes in a beautifully packaged tin and as soon as you open the tin, the delicate blend of violet, sandalwood and plum. The Secret Paradise Hand & Body Treats In Decorative Tin With Hand Cream 100ml, Soap 80g & Body Butter 50ml, £15 would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift or even a birthday present for a friend. I know my mum would totally love this!
The Secret Paradise Heart Soap In Tin 80g, £5 and the Vintage Rose and Mimosa & Pomegranate Milled Guest Soaps X 8, £8 are lovely little gifts for soap lovers! I think this’d be perfect in addition to bigger gifts or ‘intangible’ gifts. I’m not gonna bore you again, but good God these smell good! I’m not a soap person, but I had to tear myself away from these.
This Vintage Collection Rose Miniature Birdcage with Bath &
Body Essentials, £13 had me at the packaging. The birdcage packaging is just too cute! I’d love to open this on Valentine’s Day and
I can just imagine that I’d display either my lipsticks or some jewellery in
there. The contents are the usual beautifully
floral scented body products that will leave you wanting to buy the lot!
The Morris & Co. Strawberry Thief Collection With Body Wash,
Body Lotion, Hand Cream & Hand Wash, £14 packaging of this
is different to the others, the hand creams smell a little fresher with
bergamot, patchouli and mandarin. This
is a fabulous present for those who love their luxurious body products. The hand creams and the body lotion are
really nourishing with added cocoa butter and evening primrose oil. I love this set!
