I have
tried so may things over the years from Estee Lauder, it was rather difficult
to pick just a few products. From
skincare to makeup, EL has some legendary products that you just shouldn't be
without!
I loved it
when I previously used it, using it again made me think, why I wasn't using
this all the time?! This beautiful serum
hydrates my skin by penetrating into the skin with just a couple of drops! In the morning, my skin feels absolutely
amazing! It looks brighter, feel plumper
and I can just feel my skin thanking me.
Being in my 20's, it makes me think that in years to come I will reap
the anti-ageing benefits of this brilliant serum too! I've previously spoken about the ANR eye
cream (post here) which is also excellent.
I don't
know why it took me so long to try this!
Goodness me! The DW foundation is
a godsend for oily skinned gals like myself who want a good coverage without
looking cakey and an oily mess by the end of the day. The wide shade range makes it great for women
who struggle to find foundation with the correct undertone and shade. I love how it helps control shine yet doesn't
look flat or 'too mattifying'. It's
definitely up there with my favourite foundations.
I’ve never
been a bronzer person as such. I’m a fan
of Benefit’s Hoola bronzer (review here) for contouring mostly, but not all
over. EL’s Bronze Goddess gives the most
sun kissed bronzed glow ‘back-from-South-of-France’ kind of glow. The powder is really fine so you can easily
build up depending how much of a glow you want, there is slight shimmer which
enhance that glow and you don’t have to go in with a separate highlighter. I’ve been in love with this to prep my winter
self slowly for summer.
I've tried
my fair share of lipsticks, and these are one of my favourites. The formula is what sets it apart, they are
the creamiest and the most nourishing lipsticks I've tried to date. The rich pigmentation compliments the creamy
formula and gives a satin finish. You
can see the swatches of the shade 'Tumultuous Pink' here. I've written up quite a list to invest in
some more shades!
This is in
my top five favourite perfumes of all time.
I love Modern Muse too, but this just has something a little extra
making it slightly more irresistible than it’s older sister. If you read my Christmas fragrance gift guide post, you can read up on the notes.
This make me feel so elegant, I can't quite describe it; if you haven't
given this a try yet, you simply must!
The newest
release by EL which I was most skeptical about; yet it impressed me like no
other. I’m the biggest cynic when it
comes to these types of products, I mean who needs a primer for their lashes
anyway?! Let me tell you, I do, that’s
who! I’m pretty sure I can go without
mascara now, which for me is unheard of.
It gives you the lashes that you want without looking like you have
anything on your lashes. It’s not like
clear mascara, or anything I’ve tried before.
It’s completely unique in its own right, and I will post a full review
and demo so you can see for yourself.
