Too Faced is one of those brands I’ve
always wanted to try but never did as it wasn’t so readily available. Their packaging is always so on point! In the last year or so, I’ve seen Too Faced
crop up more and more. Some of their
products like the chocolate palette and the sweetheart blushes have become cult
products. I’ve rounded up some of my
favourite products if you’re looking to try out some Too Faced products.
The perfect palette for me as I do
travel a fair bit, and this makes it so easy for me to just grab and go. The colours in the palette are subtle and
have the perfect products in there to create a minimal flawless complexion. The concealer is perfect for my under eyes,
and the luminizer is great if you want a creamy highlighter, I use this on my
lids. Yes, you heard right, my lids. I just dab on to the middle of the lids and
put lashings of mascara on and voila! The
cream blusher can double up as a lipgloss and gives a fresh pop of colour. The
bronzing veil reminds me a little of the Kevin Aucoin Celestial Powder in
Candlelight. It’s a fine highlight that
gives the most amazing glow to the skin I’ve ever seen. This palette is
everything you’ll need this Spring for that fresh glowy complexion you’re
after.
I’ve always been faithful to the Smashbox Lid Primer (review here) for the longest time. When I saw this I didn’t think that would
change, but oh boy it has! The Too Faced
Shadow Insurance Eyeshadow Primer is the best thing my oily lids has ever
known. The yellow coloured primer colour
corrects my lids and gives it the neutral base it needs. It applies smoothly as a cream but sets
almost strightaway. It doesn’t interfere
with the different formulas of eyeshadows and really livens up the shadow
colour! This adds hours and hours to my
shadow life! I’ve worn this with the Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette (review & swatches here) and
it lasted over 12 hours. I was lost for
words. I can totally see why Kaushal is
always using this in her Youtube videos.
Absolute star product!
Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream in Sweet Maple, £18
Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream in Sweet Maple, £18
I just know this is going to be one of my most worn this Spring/Summer. The formula is so moisturising and nourishing, you won’t need a lip balm at all. The nourishing formula doesn’t compromise the pigmentation as the colour payoff is perfect. This is like a more balm-y version of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick (review & swatch here). The shade Sweet Maple is a slightly darker nude for my lips and I didn’t think I’d like it, but I actually love it! Nude lips are great, but that slightly darker colour really adds a little depth.
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer, £28
This is super nice bronzer, for warming up your complexion. I’ve reviewed this in full with swatches here so I won’t go on too much about it. It’s such a nice bronzer that will suit everyone. I think TF does face products really well, as I’ve got a couple more face products that I adore.Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach, £24
Another one I’ve already reviewed here with swatches. I love using this swirled together to mix the three shades and just lightly sweep along my cheekbones. The shade Peach Beach suits my skin so well and adds a subtle pop of colour and loveliest sheen. With a little contour this is the nicest blush to wear!
Too Faced Cocoa Matte Foundation, £28
I’m so into powder foundations, they’re like magical little
multitaskers. I previously reviewed the Nars Powder Foundation
(review here), and now I’m
in love with this. I use this as a setting
powder, as a bronzer and to warm up my winter foundation colour. The powder is fine and blends really well to
my skin, it doesn’t interfere with liquid foundations and works to control oil
too, which is a plus for me. Another
product that’s going to be my best friend in the summer for sure!
