The
month of February has been the month of hair
for me. I have basically been obsessed with all things hair related,
from changing up my hair products to trying new products.
So
expect a fair amount of hair related posts! One thing I'm quite
consistent with is hair masks. I religiously use an intensive hair
mask every Sunday. Last month I decided to stray from my ever
favourite Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment (full review here) to
something a little less eye-watering, price-wise! My hair is very
very
long and the ends need
all the moisture they can get. I try to do oil treatments before I
wash my hair
a couple of time through the week, but it is
a bit of a pain. Needless to say, it doesn;t get done as often as
it should. So when I saw Mark Hill's MiracOILicious, the lazy girl
inside me knew I needed these!
The
Mark
Hill MiracOILicious 2 Minute Intensive Treatment, £7.99
replaced my usual Sunday hair mask. Firstly, it smells lovely not
too intense. The consistency is similar to most hair masks, quite a
thick conditioner that you have to scoop out of the tub. I tend to
apply from the mid'length of my hair to the ends and really massage
my hair with my fingers ensuring all of the hairs are covered. Then
I leave it on for 2 minutes as per the instruction. I wash off and
towel dry my hair. Usually I try to let my hair air dry to limit
heat damage. Afterwards my hair feels smooth, soft and I have a lot
less flyaways so hair is much more manageable. I'd definitely
recommend this if you have quite dry hair or damaged hair and don't
want to spend too much. The hydration of my hair has improved with
regular use and my hair looks shinier after use too.
When
I do use a hairdryer and heat style my hair, I have added a new step
and have seen a lot
of difference. Meet Mark
Hill MiracOILicious Moroccan Argan Oil - Light-weight Formulation,
£9.99
(hello longest name ever!). I use one pump, warm the product between
my palms, and run it through the mid-length to the ends. After I've
dried my hair, I feel the difference in the smoothness and how shiny
my hair looks. Even if I don't heat style my hair, if I apply this
on my second day hair, my hair looks glossy without being weighed
down or looking/feeling greasy. I can't stop touching my hair as it
feels so
soft! As you only need one pump, I imagine this bottle lasting me a
while.
These
two products have given my hair it's shine back, which is hard to
retain for longer hair. The dryness leading to tangy hair and split
ends – no more! I hadn't tried tried Mark Hill hair products
before, but this range has made me want to try more of the ranges.

your favourite hair mask?
