New Release | The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Review

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter & Shower Gel Review - Aspiring Londoner

The Body Shop never ceases to amaze me with their new releases.  When I saw the new Fuji Green Tea range, I didn't think I'd like it as I don’t like the smell of green tea on its own.  But like a good beauty blogger, I decided to give it a try.

I had a whiff of The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter (£13) and it was like nothing I’ve ever smelt!  It is really fresh yet not bitter like green tea can smell like.  It also smells ever so slightly sweet and floral, but not like the usual TBS body butter scents.  As I slathered the beautifully creamy body butter on my skin, it just felt and smelt like spring.  True to its fresh scent, the consistency of the body butter is really light and absorbs quickly into the skin.  It almost feels cooling and soothing.  The scent is so good, I really want the eau de cologne from the range too!

I’ve been trying out the body butter and the shower gel.  The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel (£6) is amazing for waking you up the in the morning with its refreshing scent.  It doesn’t dry out my skin and the scent just stays with me.  It’s not too minty or anything but just smells really fresh!

The body butter is clear winner for me from the range, I’m going to stock up for the summer.  I also want to try out the Fuji Green Tea for your bath!  I can just imagine it’d be the perfect thing to soak to in the summer!  Between the TBS Fuji Green Tea range and the recent good weather in the UK, I’m so ready for summer!
