Orla Kiely Square Flower Orange & Blue Large Wash Bag Review

Do you find it almost impossible to fit in everything you need for a holiday into a wash bag?  I've had the same wash bag that I bought back in college, and it has seen better days.  Firstly, it's no longer big enough to accommodate my plethora of products and makeup brushes that I take with me.  Secondly, it just has two big compartments, which makes it incredibly difficult to find things.  That's why I was really excited to receive this beautiful Orla Kiely Square Flower Orange & Blue Large Wash Bag (£34).  At first look, I loved the look of it but didn't think it would be big enough for me.

But once I'd put everything that I would put in, I had space...SPACE!  That was the biggest thing I was looking for so everything else would just be bonus!  As the wash bag opens up there's a big compartment to place bigger products which has two small pockets.  I like these pockets as I always lose hair grips & bobbles so it's a secure place to stash them, also it's great for keeping cotton pads.  In front of the large compartment, there's a mesh zipped pocket.  This is brilliant for keeping small bits and bobs in - I usually put in little sample tubes/pots that I take to holiday.  Makes it easier to find them!

As you open up the wash bag, it unfolds with a hanging hook.  This is really helpful especially when you're at your hotel and getting settled, you don't want to keep opening and closing the bag every time you need something.  hanging it up makes it easier to grab things and allows you too see what's there and everything.  The hook is re-enforced so it won't rip off the bag!  Love!

The unfolded part also has two zipped sections where I tend to put more fiddly things that'll get lost in the big compartment.  Things like eye pencils, lip pencils, eyebrow pencils etc., holds them in place and ensures the lid doesn't open to ruin everything else!  I would have liked it more if these pockets were a little bigger, I find that if you put a few things in, the pocket gets a little strained.  The pockets have a mesh material body so you can see through to see what's inside - great idea!

As a whole, the bag is really sturdy even when it's full to the brim.  It holds its shape well, so things won't get squished inside.  I think I'm sorted in the wash bag department and in time for the summer holidays too!
