Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Quattro Mascara Review

There are no greater enablers than bloggers.  Fairy Drops is a brand I've been dying to try out since I heard Anna (from Vivianna Does Makeup) rave about their mascara.

Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Quattro Mascara (£18.50) claims to fatten and lengthen your lashes.  It's supposed to curl your lashes and create a fluttery effect.  First of all, I love the packaging - it's fun, pretty and just looks beautiful.  I found that in my makeup bag it stood out so much, that I kept reaching for it! Subliminal messaging or what?!

The formula is creamy but not too thick to create clumps.  The mascara has tiny little fibres to lengthen your lashes without irritating your eyes.  I was a little unsure about the fibres.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that the fibres aren't even noticeable!  You can seen them on the wand, but when applied, they're completely undetectable.  The wand is shaped in four bobbles to curl your lashes, and it really does curl my lashes.  I find that the curl holds well through the day too.  The longevity of the Quattro is really good too, the effects seem to last all day.  I can later add layers of mascara without fearing for clumps.

The mascara is easy to remove with most eye makeup removers.  I was concerned that the fibres might get into my eyes while removing it, but nothing like that at all happened.  I honestly couldn't even see the fibres whilst removing my makeup.    It's such a good fibre mascara and it's made me not dislike fibre mascaras.  I'm not saying I'm going to run out and buy them all, but I definitely love using this.

It promises to be flake-free and budge-free, I confirm that it is, at least on my lashes.  Especially the heat we've experienced in the past couple of weeks really tested this.  I love wearing this day to day now as it doesn't look 'too done' but still makes me look awake and gives oomph to my lashes.  If you're after a new mascara, I'd suggest giving this a try.
