Brows 101 | Part 2

Brow Mascara Review ft L'Oreal, GOSH & Maybelline - Aspiring Londoner

I was going to include some more brow products in this part, but I had a lot of questions about brow gels/mascaras. So I decided to make this post all about products that set the brows.

Drugstore | Hydrating Face Masks

Hydrating Drugstore Face Masks Review ft Superfacialist, Bioderma, Weleda, Superdrug & The Body Shop - Aspiring Londoner

I’m pretty meticulous with my skincare especially when it comes to using face masks weekly. As a frequent face mask user, it can become a little straining on the ol’ bank account to keep reaching for higher end brands and products. I’ve handpicked a few of my favourite hydrating drugstore face masks that provide just as good a result as higher end masks.

Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection Review

Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush Collection Review - Aspiring Londoner

Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush Collection created a lot of noise in social media around their launch period.  This was because of the price tag attached to the brushes.  Initially I was sceptical as to why the prices were so much higher than their regular brushes.

Haircare | Detangling Duo

Deatngling Duo ft AirMotion Pro & Sachajuan Leave-in Conditioner - Aspiring Londoner

As lovely as it is having long hair, let me tell you detangling it ain’t fun!  Whilst growing my hair, I realised that the greasier the roots of my hair gets, the drier the ends of my hair gets.  Finding the balance has been a difficult task to say the least.

Best of No7 Makeup Review & Swatches - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve used No7 makeup for as long as I can remember.  They’ve grown leaps and bounds and their products easily measure up to a lot of the higher end brands.  I wanted to share some of my favourite bits from their makeup range.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation Review - Aspiring Londoner

Let’s talk about the foundation everyone has been talking about.  Yep, you’ve guessed right, NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation.  I’ve only recently delved into NARS and so far I’ve loved everything I’ve tried.  The NARS Sheer Glow foundation was so beautiful on my skin, that I had to try this when it surfaced.

Budget Buy | Bourjois Colorband Eyeshadow & Liner

Bourjois Colorband 2-in-1 Eyeshadow & Liner Review - Aspiring Londoner

Eyeshadows and my greasy lids just don’t get on, they've never been friends and I never thought they will be.  The only thing that ever really stayed on my lids is the By Terry Ombre Blackstars.  However at £38 each, the price is a little steep for me to buy them all.  I do believe I’ve found something that comes pretty close in the drugstore!

My Little Frenchie Box | February 2015

My Little Frenchie Box February 2015 Review - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve never been sure of beauty subscription boxes.  The reason being, I’m always sceptical that I’d get my money’s worth.  Some subscription boxes seem to regurgitate the same or similar samples in a lot of boxes, and a lot of them seem to give out sample of shower gels etc. which doesn’t interest me a lot.  The last few months’, I’ve been seeing a lot of love for the ‘My Little Box’ subscription box and I’ve been dying to try them out.

Best of Smashbox Review - Aspiring Londoner

Smashbox is one of my favourite brands.  This is because couple of years ago, I had a makeover at one of their counters and was amazed at the quality and the longevity of the products.  I’m a massive fan of their primer range too.

Valentine’s Day seems to bring out either the red statement lip or pretty pink lips.  I wanted to bring something different to the mix, a berry lip.  Let’s call this the alternative red lip.

Pamper Gifts for Valentine's

L’Occitane Almond Discovery Collection - Aspiring Londoner

This is going to be the last of my Valentine’s Day gift posts.  Every girl loves pampering, it doesn’t have to be super expensive spa vouchers (it’d be great if it was!) but a little more low key pampering products that’ll make you feel amazing on the weekends.  I know I certainly appreciate my bath and moisturising time on Sundays.

The other half and I aren’t big on Valentine’s Day at all, we’re more ‘romance all year round’ kinda folks (I know, sick bucket).  I still wanted to share a quite casual date night look for Valentine’s Day (or any other date nights) with just a few products.

Heathcote & Ivory | Vintage Beauty

Heathcote & Ivory Gift Sets - Aspiring Londoner

Heathcote & Ivory is one of my recent discoveries and I instantly fell in love when I laid my eye upon their products.  My fascination towards vintage style products are their packaging.  The packaging always gets me first and then come the beautiful scent and the textures.  You will understand exactly what I mean when you delve into the products I’m about to show you.  All the products are paraben and sulphate free.

Eyeliner Pens ft Seventeen, Eyeko, Bourjois & Essence - Aspiring Londoner

I’ve used liquid eye liners for as long as I can remember and it has always been my trustee Rimmel liner (full review here).  Last year, I gave in to the hype and decided to try pen eyeliners, and safe to say I haven’t looked back.  I’ve since accumulated a fair few which may help you decide if you’re in the market for one.

Best of Topshop Makeup Review - Aspiring Londoner

Initially I thought Topshop makeup wouldn’t be very good.  This is out of sheer snobbery that a fashion brand couldn’t possibly get makeup right, surely.  I have never been more wrong.  I’ve previously reviewed the Topshop lipstick here and Kohl pencil here.
